1.Blood glucose control
You have to be much aware of your plasma glucose levels, to keep that at least check your blood glucose at least twice a month. If you’re under insulin therapy, regular checkups are necessary.
2. Foot care
On a daily basis, you have to check your feet, for the presence of dry or cracking skin, fissures, plantar callus formation (Thickened areas), and signs of early infection between the toes and around the toe nails. This is very important.
3. Control of pain
In a small number diabetic patients have to have painful neuronal destruction. If you are one of them, you will be given pain killer, ( not usual ones, some are specific)
